Remote Area Power Solutions

A highlight of the work performed by Total Diesel Power Systems has been the creation of containerised power stations for isolated and remote communities. This particular solution allows for a shipping container which holds a fully operational power station to be trucked, shipped or helicoptered into a remote site and be immediately utilised.

This highly specialised system has evolved over many years of development, involving man and machine operating in probably the harshest environment on Earth. The Central Deserts of Australia range from -5 C (23 F) to +45 C (113 F) over a 24 hour period, with Total Diesel's solutions providing consistent power outputs. These mining and remote communities rely on the Total Diesel containerised power stations for the survival and well being.

With the move towards greener forms of power generation, Total Diesel are also able to integrate an alternative energy source, such as solar or wind, with a reserve diesel power station to assist those communities reduce their dependence on diesel fuel supply.
