Day 1

We depart 0730 from the Pier Street Perth Coach Rank on the corner of Hay Street, then along the Great Eastern Highway to Merredin, Southern Cross, Coolgardie and Norseman.

Day 2

BLD

Onto the Eyre Highway past Fraser Range to Balladonia, Caiguna, Cocklebiddy and Madura Pass to Eucla.

Day 3

BLD

Over the border at Eucla into South Australia. View the Southern Ocean from the Cliffs of the Bight where we could see whales, sharks, dolphins or seals. Then over the treeless plain to Ceduna. Caravan Park.

Day 4

BL

We turn off the sealed road at Wirrulla to travel through the picturesque lakes country, usually a lot of wildlife and some of South Australiaís best wildflowers as we pass Lake Everard to Kingoonya on the transline, then north to join the Stuart Highway to the opal capital of Coober Pedy. Underground accommodation at Umoona Opal Cave.

Day 5

East to William Creek on the Oodnadatta Track past Lake Eyre and some beautiful springs on the way to Marree, the start of the Birdsville Track.

Day 6

BL

The Birdsville Track today as we cross Coopers Creek to Mungerannie Roadhouse, then over the Stony Desert to the Diamantina River and Birdsville, Queensland.

Day 7
   & 8

Now some party time as we enjoy the most unique races in Australia - a must for all Australians to see - the real "Outback" personalities.

Day 9

Today we head north through Bedourie to Boulia then along the Donohue Highway for the overnight campsite on the northern edge of the Simpson Desert.

Day 10

BLD

North west now through Channel Country past Glenormiston and into the Northern Territory near Tobermorey stopping for the night near Tarlton Downs.

Day 11

Heading west along the Plenty Highway past Jervois, Harts Range, Gem Tree to Alice Springs. Caravan Park.

Day 12

B

After a tour of Alice, itís out to Simpsonís Gap and Standley Chasm and return through Honeymoon Gap to show you one of Aliceís unique attractions Panorama Guth. Also some time to do some personal shopping. Same accommodation.

Day 13

BLD

South to the Lasseter Highway past Mt Connor to Ayers Rock for lunch. There is plenty of time to climb this mighty monolith and see the Aboriginal paintings and caves around the base. We can also arrange flights over Ayers Rock and the Olgas (optional), then watch the colour change as the sun sets. Caravan Park.

Day 14

BLD

West now for a stop at the Olgas, then onto Lasseterís Cave. Through the beautiful Petermann Ranges past Docker River and back into W.A. To Giles on the Gunbarrel Highway, then past gnama holes and breakaways to Warburton area.

Day 15

BLD

Traversing the Gibson Desert to Peagul Waterhole, ghost gums and spinifex to Laverton Downs Sheep Station accommodation.

Day 16

B

Through the gold mining areas of Leonora to Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie, then down through the wheatbelt to Perth.
